Big Brew Day 2024

On May 4, homebrewers around the world got together to celebrate “Big Brew 2024.” Big Brew is an annual celebration on the first Saturday of May that commemorates National Homebrew Day. The tradition of Big Brew is to gather together with your fellow homebrewers and celebrate our hobby by brewing together. 

This year’s Big Brew took place on May the Fourth, and so the official Big Brew 2024 homebrew recipes were all inspired by Star Wars. 

This year, the club decided to participate in the Weiz Guys Big Brew Day Competition 2024 in which clubs could brew one of the official recipes and enter them in to be judged against those submitted by the other homebrew clubs.

All submissions must have been brewed by at least two club members together and must be one of the official recipes provided by the AHA. ACBC had multiple groups brewing together and in total came up with 5 entries and selected our top two to enter.

ACBC did not receive any awards for our entries but everyone had a great time brewing them and tasting them during our own voting process.
